Blue Hydrangea

Hydrangeas have to be one of my favourite flowers - both to look at and to paint.  This one was half in bloom in a beautiful country estate back in Northern Ireland.  I went for a lovely drizzly walk with my sister and son - he was complaining that we were taking to long and 'why do you have to look at every flower' - simple answer 'just because I do!'
